Bravasaurus is an extinct genus of titanosaur that lived in South America during the Late Cretaceous.
History[]
Bravasaurus comes from the Laguna Brava Provincial Park, and the species name arrierosorum to the civilians who crossed the Andes transporting cattle in the 19th century.
Description[]
Bravasaurus is known from several specimens. One, consisting of the right quadrate and quadratojugal, many vertebrae, haemal arches, a humerus, parts of the feet, left ilium, the right pubis, partial ischium, femur and fibulae. The second consists of a tooth, an ilium, femur, and some ribs. The genus itself is differentiated by countless autapomorphies.
