Pterosaurs are a group of flying archosaurs that dominated the skies of the Mesozoic, and went extinct at the K-PG boundary. Pterosaurs range in sizes, teeth uses and placement (some genera lacked teeth) and crest and beak shapes. Pterosaurs are covered in a light covering of pycnofibers, a primitive feather-like structure.
