Stegosaurids (roofed lizards) is a group of armoured herbivorous dinosaurs. They are known for their backs; which are lined with angular plates, their tiny brains, wide hips and long tails tipped in four spines, dubbed thagomizers. Stegosaurids are named after the popular Stegosaurus.
