Adelospondylus was an amphibian from Scotland, that lived during the Carboniferous period.

Adelospondylus, like Adelogyrinus is theorized to have lived in waterways and forests. The only fossils recovered were a single skull (with mandible). The scientists noted the mandible was 'deep'. Adelospondylus is very similar to Adelogyrinus. Adelospondylus has a skull 5 centimeters long.
