The La Boucharde taxon is an unnamed genus of majungasaurine abelisaurid that lived in France during the Late Cretaceous.
Description[]
The taxon is known from a tibia bone, measuring 400 mm long recovered from the Campanian-aged Begudian beds of France. No specimen ID is known, so it is possible this taxon was sunk into another at some point.
Classification[]
Filippe et al. (2016) recovered the taxon as the sister to Arcovenator, these two taxa, along with possibly the Pourcieux Abelisaurid may represent a distinct lineage of Abelisaurids of France.
