On the Prehistoric wiki, we strive for accuracy in our information, and well put together pages. Our goal is to compile information on all extinct organisms (including: recently extinct animals and plants, extinct flora and fauna. Example Tyrannosaurus Rex.).

All pages should be:

• Organised
• Easy to read
• An accurate compilation of information
• Family friendly

All pages should not be/contain:

• Pornography
• Illegal material
• Swears of slurs of any kind
• Offensive content of any kind (run the content by an admin before further actions)

Flora (Plant Organisms)

Flora pages should be titled with their scientific names (Helianthus- Sunflower. Note: Sunflowers are not extinct, merely an example.). The first paragraph should consist of who discovered the plant, what it looked like in life and, where it lived. An Infobox should be included using the 'Plant' format. All references used should be kept under a paragraph titled 'References' using the Heading font style at the top of your edit bar. When listing species be sure to use the cross symbol (†) with the initial of the organism with the last name as well as the last name of the person who discovered it with the year.

Fauna (Animal Organisms)

Animal pages should be titled with their name. The first name is to be capitalized and the second name should be lower case font. An example of this is: Dilophosaurus wetherilli. The only time you should use an animals full scientific name is to list species names in an Infobox. The page should include who discovered the animal, when it was where it lived and what we think it looked like in life. One should use the Infobox assigned to the 'Animal' format. All references used should be kept under a paragraph titled 'References' using the Heading font style at the top of your edit bar. When listing species be sure to use the cross symbol (†) with the initial of the organism with the last name as well as the last name of the person who discovered it with the year.

Categories

All organisms should be assigned a category. (Note: Tree of life is subject to change.) As an example:
